How do groups work?
Create a group from the Predictions → Groups tab and give it a name. Your group gets a unique 6-character code and an invite link. Share either with friends and family. Everyone who joins can predict matches and compete together on a shared leaderboard.
Where do I make my predictions?
Go to WC26 → Predict and use the My Predictions tab. Tap the +/− buttons to set scores for each upcoming match. Your predictions save automatically — no submit button needed.
How is the leaderboard scored?
Points are awarded after each match finishes (points are doubled during the knockout stage):
Group Stage
- 10 points — exact correct score
- 7 points — correct goal difference
- 5 points — correct result (win/loss/draw)
Knockout Stage (2x)
- 20 points — exact correct score
- 14 points — correct goal difference
- 10 points — correct result (win/loss/draw)
What if I was invited to a group?
Click the invite link you received. If you are not already logged in, you will be redirected to sign in (or create an account) first. Once signed in, you will be automatically joined to the group and land directly on the group page.
Can I join a group without an invite?
Yes. Go to Predictions → Groups, tap Join by code, and enter the 6-character code shared by the group owner.
How do I display my name on the leaderboard?
Inside your group, go to the Members section and click Add your initials next to your entry. Set a 1-letter first initial and up to 8 letters for your last name. This is shown to the group instead of your email address.
